History of the Wagon Wheel
After running the meat department at Wagon Wheel Market for three years, Dick and Dona Butler purchased the market in 1981. They raised their 3 sons while working at the market 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Shortly after purchasing the store, they added a cutting room and smoke house to provide the local community with superior smoked meats. For years afterwards, all of those products went on to win first place awards at the Meat Processors Convention.
In 2012, Dick and Dona retired and their sons, Pat and Tom, bought the store and took over the family business.
As a family business, the Butler’s and their dedicated staff are focused on providing high quality gourmet products and excellent customer service.
