The Chico Com­mu­ni­ty Obser­va­to­ry, also known as the Ani­ta Ingrao Obser­va­to­ry, is a non-prof­it astro­nom­i­cal obser­va­to­ry owned and oper­at­ed by Kiwa­nis Club of Greater Chico.

The Chico Com­mu­ni­ty Obser­va­to­ry is locat­ed in Upper Bid­well Park and pro­vides the pub­lic with access to tele­scopes and the won­ders of the night sky. Entry is free, but dona­tions are wel­comed.

It’s a place where you can explore the uni­verse first-hand, free of charge, and learn about the plan­ets, stars, space explo­ration, and upcom­ing celes­tial events.

Owned and oper­at­ed by Chico Com­mu­ni­ty Obser­va­to­ry, Inc. a 501c (3) non prof­it cor­po­ra­tion, the obser­va­to­ry is open to the pub­lic year round.
