FunLand/​Cal Skate Chico is a fam­i­ly oper­at­ed and local­ly owned fam­i­ly fun com­plex fea­tur­ing an indoor roller skat­ing rink plus out­door bat­ting cages, mini-golf, and an arcade. • Roller Skat­ing: Locat­ed indoors at Cal Skate, the 15,000 square foot roller rink caters to skaters of all abilities. 
• Mini Golf: The 18-hole mini golf course is locat­ed out­side in a beau­ti­ful­ly land­scaped facil­i­ty, com­plete with streams and water­falls. When fin­ished, enjoy a scoop of ice cream or a game of air hock­ey inside the clubhouse.
• Bat­ting Cages: The out­door bat­ting cages – both base­ball and soft­ball – are the ide­al place to chal­lenge your friends to a home run der­by or to get ready for the week­end’s big game.

Fun­Land also offers pro­grams for class and school field trips, ben­e­fit pro­grams, and fundraisers.

Vot­ed as one of the best birth­day par­ty venues in the North­state, FunLand/​Cal Skate Chico has host­ed over 35,000 birth­day par­ties since its found­ing in 1978. More About FunLand

Cal Skate at Fun­Land opened it’s doors in 1978 as one of Chico’s first fam­i­ly enter­tain­ment options. Back then, all that was along High­way 99 were open fields and Cal Skate. Since then, the town has grown and has com­plete­ly sur­round­ed the Fun­Land property. 

Over the years, Cal Skate has grown itself. In 1984, Fun­Land added the bat­ting cages (now called The Dugout at Fun­Land). In 2003, they added the minia­ture golf course and Club­house (Put­ters at Fun­Land). They then con­sol­i­dat­ed all attrac­tions into one umbrel­la name: FunLand.

No mat­ter what attrac­tion you pick dur­ing your vis­it, Fun­Land is all ded­i­cat­ed to mak­ing sure you and your fam­i­ly have a nice, clean, heart-healthy, fun, experience.
