Join us this Jan­u­ary for Butte Coun­ty’s first-ever Dry Jan­u­ary Pass­port! Sip and savor craft mock­tails and pre­mi­um non-alco­holic drinks at par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tions across Butte County.

By par­tic­i­pat­ing, you can earn a cus­tom stick­er, get entered to win gift cards from par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tions, and com­pete with friends on a vir­tu­al leader­board as you vis­it mul­ti­ple businesses.

  1. Get your dig­i­tal Dry Jan­u­ary Pass­port at this link: go​.explore​but​te​coun​ty​.com (Noth­ing to down­load, but we rec­om­mend adding it to your Home screen for quick­er access)
  2. Click ​“Join the Chal­lenge” From Jan. 1 – 31, 2025, check-in with a pho­to at par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tions across Butte County
  3. Share your mock­tail moments. Once you’ve logged into the web app, vis­it a list­ed restau­rant or bar and take a pho­to to ​“check-in” and upload as proof. Earn draw­ing entries with each check-in as well as mile­stone badges and addi­tion­al offers from select locations.

MILE­STONES AND REWARDS

Every check-in at a par­tic­i­pat­ing loca­tion is one entry into our Grand Prize draw­ing, and five (5) Grand Prize win­ners will be ran­dom­ly select­ed to win $200 worth of gift cards from par­tic­i­pat­ing Dry Jan­u­ary Pass­port businesses.

PRIZE REDEMP­TION

Dry Jan­u­ary Pass­port stick­ers are avail­able for pick­up between Jan­u­ary 15 and Feb­ru­ary 15, 2025, at the fol­low­ing locations:

  • Oroville Cham­ber of Com­merce: 1789 Mont­gomery St., Mon.-Fri. 9am-3pm
  • Chico Vis­i­tors Cen­ter: 180 E 4th St #120, Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-5pm (call before pick­up to con­firm staff is avail­able: (530) 891‑5556)

Must have proof of com­ple­tion via the app to pick up your prize. If you’re unable to pick up your prize in per­son, please email contact@​explorebuttecounty.​com to make oth­er arrange­ments. Grand prize win­ners will be announced by Feb­ru­ary 10, 2025, via email.

  • Check-ins require pur­chase of a Dry Jan­u­ary Pass­port drink spe­cial at par­tic­i­pat­ing locations.
  • Check before you vis­it. Most loca­tions are All Ages, but some are 21+. Open hours and days vary, so please check each loca­tion for specifics.
